Profiles and your Clover account
What is a Profile in Clover?
A Profile is a private financial space inside your Clover account. Its accounts, transactions, imports, budgets, goals, reports, and investments stay separate from your other Profiles.
How is my Clover account different from a Profile?
Your account is the identity you use to sign in. Profiles sit inside that account and let you organize separate financial pictures without creating another login.
Can other people see my Profiles?
No. Profiles are private to your account. Sharing happens separately through Circles, where you choose what to share and with whom.
Switch, rename, or remove a Profile
How do I switch Profiles?
Use the Profile selector, then choose the Profile you want. Clover updates the app so you see the accounts and activity that belong to that Profile.
Which Profile receives a new import?
The Profile that is active when you start the import receives the file and its results. Check the Profile name before uploading.
What should I check before removing a Profile?
Review its accounts, transactions, imports, plans, and shared commitments first. Removing a Profile can affect all of the financial history stored inside it.
Profile limits on Free and Pro
How many Profiles can I create?
Free supports up to 3 Profiles, including your Personal Profile. Pro supports up to 10 Profiles.
What happens to my Profiles if I change plans?
Clover should keep your existing data intact. If your Profile count is above the new plan limit, review the plan guidance before creating or changing Profiles.
Free vs Pro in Clover
What is the difference between Free and Pro in Clover?
Free is best for trying the product or managing a smaller setup, while Pro unlocks more room for accounts, uploads, deeper analysis, and investment tools.
How much does Clover Pro cost?
Clover Pro is priced at USD 2.99 monthly or USD 29.99 annually.
What is included in the Free plan?
Free is designed for lighter use while you explore Clover. It still lets you try the core process and see how the app works for your finances.
How to upgrade your Clover plan
How do I upgrade my Clover plan?
Open Settings or Pricing, choose the plan you want, and follow the billing flow that matches your account.
Where do I manage billing?
Open Settings after signing in. That is where Clover surfaces the plan and billing actions tied to your account.
What to do when you hit your Clover limit
What happens if I hit my free plan limit?
Clover should point you toward the next plan or keep you within the available limits until you decide to upgrade.
What does Pro unlock?
Pro gives you more headroom for accounts, uploads, transactions, the deeper reports and goals features that benefit from a fuller data set, and investment tools for a more complete view of your finances.
How to cancel or change your Clover plan
How do I cancel or change my plan?
Use the billing area in Settings or Pricing, then choose the plan action that matches what you want to do.
Will I lose my data if I change plans?
Plan changes should affect billing and limits, not your confirmed finance records. Your data should remain available unless you choose a deletion flow.
